The process of developing a font for the city of St. Petersburg began with the search for analogues of navigation sets of other cities. Then, the fonts suitable for St. Petersburg were analyzed, it turned out that they were not associated with the appearance of the northern capital because of very rough serifs. Therefore, the serifs became rounded, similar to the Doric capital.
